The loss of water from the skin is a natural process, however, if the outer layer of our skin is not working correctly, too much water loss can occur, which results in skin that feels, dry, flaky and tight.
Omega-3 fatty acids have been shown to change the structure of the skin which may help limit water loss and aid in skin barrier function and hydration.
This study hopes to limit this water loss, improve hydration & elasticity, in addition to increasing omega-3 levels through daily supplementation of the krill oil supplement.
